1. Introduction

Welcome to Biofy. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.

Biofy provides a personal bio-link service, premium features, and business account capabilities as described on our site. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Account Terms

You must be at least 13 years old to use Biofy.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
You may not create accounts by automated means or for purposes of impersonation.
One person may hold only one active account unless otherwise permitted by us.
Username changes are not currently available. You may delete your account and create a new one.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Biofy for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

Posting or sharing content that is illegal, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or obscene.
Impersonating any person or entity.
Engaging in spam, phishing, or other deceptive practices.
Interfering with the operation of the platform (e.g., denial-of-service attacks, scraping).
Using the platform to distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
Attempting to access another user's account without permission.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

4. Premium Licenses

Premium features are granted through Payhip-verified license keys:

Each license key is single-use and tied to one account. It cannot be transferred to another account after activation.
If your Premium badge is removed (e.g., by an admin or through account changes), the key may be reactivated on the same account as long as it has not been used elsewhere.
Payments are processed by Payhip and are subject to Payhip's refund policy. Biofy does not issue refunds for Premium licenses.
Premium features include access to the Badges, Effects, and Alias tabs, background animations, and other features as described on the site. These features may change over time.
We reserve the right to revoke Premium access for accounts that violate these terms.

5. Business Accounts

Business accounts are available through separate Payhip license keys per tier. By activating a Business account, you agree to the following additional terms:

Tiers & Pricing

Starter (€15 one-time): up to 10 employees
Plus (€25 one-time): up to 30 employees
Pro (€50 one-time): up to 50 employees
Enterprise (€100 one-time): unlimited employees

All payments are one-time, processed through Payhip, and non-refundable.

License Keys

Each Business license key is single-use and tied to one account. It cannot be transferred or resold.
License keys activate the corresponding tier and cannot be used to activate a different tier.
Downgrades are not permitted. You may upgrade to a higher tier (paying the difference), but you cannot move to a lower tier.
If your Business account is terminated or removed, the license key cannot be reused on another account.

Employee Management

Employee limits are enforced per tier (10/30/50/unlimited). Exceeding the limit will block additional employee additions.
When you add an employee, they will receive a Premium badge on their personal profile. This badge is tied to their employment with your business.
When you remove an employee, their Premium badge will be revoked. All premium features they customized (animations, effects, fonts, Spotify, music, custom badge styling, and others) will be reset to defaults.
Business owners cannot be added as employees of another business.
Employees cannot purchase a Business license on their own account while employed by another business.

Business Profile

You are responsible for the accuracy of your business profile information, including name, description, contact details, and social links.
Your business will be listed in the public Business Directory. You may not list fake or misleading business information.
Messages sent through the Business Contact form are your responsibility. We are not liable for the content of these messages.

6. Content & Data

You retain ownership of any content you post on your Biofy profile. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute it solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

We are not responsible for user-generated content. We do not pre-screen content but reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

View counts and analytics data are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of analytics data.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible — all data including links, badges, analytics, premium licenses, and business associations will be removed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, including for violation of these terms, without prior notice or liability. In such cases, license keys are forfeited and cannot be refunded or transferred.

Provisions regarding content, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.

8. Limitation of Liability

Biofy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the platform or the information, content, or materials included.

In no event shall Biofy, its operators, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or interruption of service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be communicated via site notice or email. Continued use of Biofy after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. The date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last updated.
